Ingredients: 2 Beetroots; 1 drizzle Olive oil; 1 pinch Sea salt; 2 tbsp Olive oil; 2 tsp Black mustard seeds; 1 tsp Turmeric; 1 tsp Cumin seeds; 1 tsp Ground coriander; 1 tsp Chilli flakes; 1 Large onion; 1 knob Ginger; 4 cloves Garlic; 3 Small beetroots; 200 g Red lentils; 700 ml Water; 4 tbsp Coconut cream or yogurt; 1-2 tsp Sea salt; Black pepper; 1/2 tsp Garam masala; 2-3 tbsp Coconut yogurt or cream; Fresh coriander; Chilli flakes; 50 g Gram flour; 1 pinch Sea salt; 1 splash Olive oil; 1/2 tsp Apple cider vinegar; 100 ml Water

A beautifully vibrant and delicious dal made with beetroots and red lentils. Served with gluten-free gram flour crepes, which work perfectly to scoop up.

Not as difficult as the list of ingredients looked.This is from someone who isn’t good at prepping.Once everything was bubbling and beetroot nearly done actually had time for a glass of wine!The flat breads were my first attempt and will make more next time.Everything was delicious as well as pretty on the table.Thank you Nicki
